The House is coming to your home! We will not gather for a virtual or in-person worship. We will however spend time with our families with an opportunity to offer ministry to our families.
This is a spiritual protocol that can be easily used by your family on Christmas Day. You can lead your family in this devotion. It will set an atmosphere that will bless your home beyond the holidays.
God will answer prayers, honor your devotion and your family will experience a closeness during this celebration of Christ. This can become a family tradition and a spiritual inheritance that you can pass on to your children. It will bless many generations to come!
Set A Time For Your Christmas Devotion
Schedule 10 minutes. Set the same time in advance and let your immediate family be aware of your plans. Family that are visiting or staying in the house should also be given the opportunity to participate.
The Word In Your Home (3 minutes)
Some recommended Scriptures:
Matthew 1:17-25
Matthew 2:1-12
Luke 1:26-38
Luke 2:1-14
If you have a Bible we recommend you use it. It may have a greater symbolism and more powerful representation than an electronic device.
Read The Word (aloud) to prepare and to focus your faith.Take your time with the reading. Practice your reading before the time your family gathers. Read every word. Complete your reading saying, “May The LORD continue to bless the reader, the hearer and the doers of His Holy Word”.
Praises In Your Home (3 minutes)
Three (1) minute praises:
a) Praise The LORD for His goodness and greatness (See Psalms 145).
b) Praise The LORD for all your family members. Name them one by one.
c) Praise The LORD for Jesus coming into the world to save sinners.
Prayers For Your Home (3 minutes)
Three (1) minute prayers.
a) Pray that your family be more unified than ever before.
b) Pray that those who are grieving or upset be comforted.
c) Pray that the next generation of your family have faith.
Proclamations Over Your Home (1 minute)
“If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all these blessings if you obey the LORD your God:
Your towns and your fields will be blessed.
Your children and your crops will be blessed.
The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed.
Your fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed.
Wherever you go and whatever you do, you will be blessed.
