We exist to share the love of Jesus and to minister the power of prayer to all people.

Urban-Missional – We are based in and committed to West Oakland and are therefore committed to the wellness of its residents.

Our Message

We believe the entire Bible is divinely inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, the revelation of God to man, and the final authority for the Church on all matters of doctrine or manner of living. It is one hundred percent the Word of God.

We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father; He is God; that while on earth, He was both man and God in one being; that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit in the Virgin Mary’s womb; that He was crucified, He died, and was buried, that He was raised from the dead by the Spirit of God, that He after many infallible proofs, ascended to heaven; and that He is today at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us.

Ready For The Upper Room

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house … Acts 2:2).

The House was filled with the Spirit. Jesus had a people who wanted to partner with His purpose. They wanted to be a part of what was coming into the world. Jesus chose them and in a house with an upper room He gave them more than ever before. For His Supper and for His Spirit he led them into an upper room. We have entered into this spiritual space called The Upper Room. There is something exceptional that the Holy Spirit wants out of Us. There is more that Jesus wants to pour into You! This is the only way to become a world changer. We need more of God’s Spirit and power at work in our lives.

The Mission: To fast in preparation of Pentecost Sunday.

The Strategy: The House with one accord.

  • Fast daily from sunset to sunrise. (6:33pm -7:14am)
  • Gather every morning for corporate prayer.
  • Set aside a supernatural seed for Pentecost Sunday.

We will Fast F.L.E.S.H. 

Foods – Refrain from meats, fried foods, sweets and liquors.

Language – Refrain from negative and destructive words. 

Entertainment – Refrain from secular media and music.

Soul Ties – Refrain from carnal people who tempt your flesh.

Habits- Refrain from unhealthy and unholy lifestyle choices.

Have A Mary Mother’s Day!

Mothers Have Favor

“Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God” (Luke 1:30).

Mary must be the most celebrated mother in history. No mother has had as much riding on her motherhood as Mary. No mother has ever carried in their womb “God come in the flesh”. No mother, but Mary was ever given the charge to raise a Savior. The motherhood of Mary is the most important model for mothers who want to birth and raise children that belong to God.

Motherhood according to the Mary narrative is all about the purpose of God in the earth. Motherhood is for divine design. Motherhood is a feminine gift. Motherhood is meant  to influence the direction of the next generation. Motherhood is a calling from God.

Mothers have favor. This is the first grace God gave to Mary. “Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women” (Luke 1:28). Mary’s motherhood began with the favor of God. Favor is the grace of God that supplies and sustains our successes.

Everything Mary was going to need to be a mother was hers before she ever held baby Jesus. The angel ministered the encouragement and the equipment she needed to conceive, give birth and shape the early years of Jesus. She was “favored” and “blessed”! That’s all it takes to do what God has called you to do. That’s all it takes for you to be who God wants you to be.

Whatever anxieties and insecurities that motherhood can pose, a messenger from God with a word from God took away the fear. Favor conquers fear. Fear is for people who do not have a word from God. 

Mary was graced for the upcoming challenges of motherhood. She had a word from God. You too have a word from God – “Fear not, you have found favor with God!”

Visual Artists, Literary Artists and Performing Artists. Pray that their skills will be subject to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Pray that new images and ideas be inspired by the Spirit. Pray that anointed artists impact the culture.

Business

Proverbs 22:7; 22:16; 22:29

Pray that the Lord will raise up a new generation of billionaires and world leaders who will confront greed and corruption and will be used by God to change how the world treats the poor. 

The Church

Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:13-17; Acts 2:41-47

The primary calling of the church is “a house of prayer for all people”. Prayer is how the kingdom of God is invited, introduced and initiated in the earth (Matthew 6:10). Pray that American pastors receive a passion for prayer.

Education

Jeremiah 9:23-24; Proverbs 1:5-9; Daniel 1:17-20

Pray that the knowledge of God would be known to our children. Pray that the next generation of believers will be stronger, wealthier and wiser. Declare them, “ten times better!”

The Family

Genesis 2:21-24, 4:1-2, 5:1-4; Acts 16:31-34; Joshua 24:15

Pray that entire families will be saved and join churches. Pray that families enter into the Ministry and serve God. Pray that godly families prosper and be in health (Ephesians 5:22-25; 6:1-4).

Government/Crime

Romans 13:1-7, 17; I Timothy 2:1-4; Revelation 11:15

Pray against the industrial and profiteering prison complex systems in the world.  Pray for police who will truly protect and serve all communities. Pray for the incarcerated and their families.

Media

Ephesians 2:1-9; II Corinthians 10:3-5; Revelation 1:7

Pray that “the prince of the power of the air” be bound away from airwaves. Pray against cyberattacks and internet deceptions. Pray that the media would be God’s tool to reveal Jesus in the world.

Take Authority Over Allergy

Holy Father, we praise You for being Jehovah Rapha! May Your name be known in the midst of Your people. We pray that You stretch forth the hand of your Holy Son Jesus Christ and minister Your power to heal and deliver from every kind of sickness, disease, malady, disorder and infirmity.

We declare, “by the stripes of Jesus we are healed”. We call ourselves “healed” from allergic rhinitis and all that causes cold-like signs and symptoms. We believe in deliverance from this runny nose, post nasal drip, swollen and itchy eyes, congestion, coughs, sneezing, sinus pressure and body fatigue.

We take authority over the atmosphere that causes allergic responses. We call for relief from outdoor and indoor allergens, pollen, dust mites, shedding by cats, dogs, and all other pet dander. We call for freedom from both seasonal and perennial symptoms that come from tree pollen, grass pollen, ragweed pollen and spores from fungi and molds.

Father, I thank you that Your power rests on this mortal body. You forgive all my iniquities and heal all my diseases. I believe I receive in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen
