Why Trump Was Elected

Donald Trump is President-elect of the Unites States of America. He is president-elect because the providence of God allowed it. Fear Not! God has history in His hands and the future under His power!

No man has ever ascended to the power of the White House or sat in the Oval Office without the permission of God. “For there is no power but of God” (Romans 13:1). God moves in the machinations of mankind and accomplishes His perfect will. God is still sovereign even after we vote. Man decides but God determines!

Our response to the presidency of Donald Trump must remain the same response we have toward all presidents, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men, for kings, and for all those in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God (II Timothy 2:1-3).
