Bishop Sean Teal, Th. D. has been elected and called to serve as the seventh pastor of the landmark New Hope Baptist Church of Oakland, California. This past Sunday and again on Wednesday night he announced and confirmed with the members of Friendship Central Community Church of Chattanooga Tennessee that he had prayerfully accepted the position. He has served as senior minister at Friendship Central for the past 14 years.
Bishop Teal will preach his first message as the pastor-elect at New Hope Baptist Church on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the 8 am and 11 am worship.
